INAUGURATION OF WALL MAGAZINE OF DEPARTMENT OF POLITICAL SCIENCE
22.04.2026- The Department of Political Science, Don Bosco College, Golaghat presented the wall magazine on the theme “Recent trends in World Politics” on 22nd April 2026 at the College Assembly Hall. D. Victor Gangmei a student of B.A 4th semester hosted the inaugural programme.
The wall magazine was inaugurated by Dr.Fr. A.Amaladoss, Principal, Director of Research, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, Don Bosco College, Golaghat, who was the chief guest for the day. Vice-Principal Fr. Alayee Pius and Dr. Sr. Sheela Paul, Vice-Principal Academics, Assistant Professor and H.O.D, Department of Education also graced the occasion by their valuable presence. All the guests were felicitated with Assamese traditional Gamucha. The welcome speech was presented by Sanngam Wangjen, a student of B.A 6th semester.
The chief objective of the wall magazine is to inform and promote awareness on geo-political shifts about prevailing conflicts across the world, emerging power dynamics etc. The wall magazine served as a platform for the students to share their creative and innovative ideas. Dr Fr.A.Amaladoss provided a deep insight on contemporary features of world politics highlighting on the use of digital technology and appreciated the creativity and hard work of the students and staff who collaborated in preparation of the magazine. The programme ended with vote of thanks delivered by Jesmin Kandulna, student of B.A 6th semester, followed by a photo session.
