The Women’s cell was established at Don Bosco College, Golaghat on May 19, 2023 with a view to promote welfare, create awareness about the problems related to female students and teaching and non-teaching women employees, helping them to realize their creative potential. It also intends to boost confidence and build awareness regarding their rights and obligations.

Vision

To empower women to recognize their potential and help them to bring all-round development in all walks of life.

Mission

To help the female students to acquire a variety of skills and knowledge, to become self- dependent and to realize their potential to build a healthy society.

Aims

  • To enhance understanding on the various problems concerning women.
  • To instill self-confidence in women
  • To promote awareness on Gender Equality.
  • To prevent sexual harassment.
  • To organize seminars, workshop, awareness programme, guest lecturers for women’s development.
  • To highlight the significance of building health and hygienic habits.
  • To provide a platform to express their thoughts, share their experiences.
